College is for everyone, and you should be excited to learn about the subject you love. Along with learning, it is that time to make new friends and keep yourself busy with those assignments. But everyone makes a silly mistake when it is the first day of your college. Here’s a list to make you understand the mistakes every rookie makes.
- Assuming all classes are ‘Rocks for Jocks’ –Take some time out in order to understand the class you’ll be signing up for. Your expectations may turn in to a disaster.
- Sitting in the Front Row – If you sit on the first row during your first class, the professor will always expect you to sit there during every lecture. And if you don’t, you’ll have to explain them the reason behind. Avoid such kind of pressure in your life.
- Buying Books from the Bookstore – Bookstores aren’t bad. All you need is a bit of concentration during your lecture and you’re good to go. Plus, selling your book may not fetch you enough at the end of the year.
- Wearing ID lanyard around your neck –Avoid making the mistake of wearing your lanyard around your neck. This will make you look silly. Just put those in your backpack and you’re good to go.
It is important to wear the right kind of lanyard in colleges as they are available in various styles, and can actually improve your look.
